GOBLET CLASS CURRICULUM This class is an introduction for flameworkers to the traditional techniques of fine goblet making. Students should have a solid grasp of basic and practical flameworking techniques, as well as a willingness to be challenged and to learn a new approach. Through demonstrations, exercises, and one-on-one instruction the students not only learn about the fine points of goblet making, they develop a better overall understanding of working hot glass by engaging the material at a detailed level and focus on different aspects of flameworking, starting with pulling points to beautiful and technically made pieces.At least 1yr experience needed. |
